This course prepares the SAC profession in providing evidenced-based ethical care to clients with mental & neurobehavioral disorders, & examine psychological, socio-cultural, legal, & ethical issues relevant to the care of mentally ill clients.
Learning about Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.
